Please notify your therapist ahead of time if there have been any changes to the horse's medication or care routine.
Please avoid using Show Sheen or similar coat conditioners within the few days prior to your horse's treatment. These products create a slippery film on the coat, making certain techniques difficult to perform.
Ensure you are scheduling a time when horses are not being fed, please! It is very hard to get them to focus and relax when they are excited about meals!
Please try to have the horse in the barn, dry, and cleaned with mud removed from the body and legs (to the best of your ability-east coast weather doesn’t always cooperate!) for the time of treatment.
If your barn is up to an hour away, or 45 miles, from Lebanon, ME, save money by scheduling 5 or more horses for the same day! The additional mileage fee will be waived when you schedule five back-to-back appointments. So, let your barn mates know!
Our Equine Massage Therapist, Tiger Lily, specializes in the Jack Meagher 25 Stress Point Massage. This style targets tight muscle tissue and unwinds muscle fibers, thus restoring the horse’s natural full range of motion.
